How to Easily Display any widget/gadget on Blogger Mobile View
With lot of internet users browsing the internet from the mobile phone. It is a necessity for bloggers to keep visitors for a long time of their blog and the best way to do so is to display more relevant widget on the mobile view of their blog. widgets like recent post, advert banner, popular post and lots more are some of the widgets that need to be display on mobile view. In this post i will be putting you a step by step process of displaying any widget easily on you blogger mobile view blog
For this Process to work the following must have being done on your blog
You must have
==> added a widget like recent post, ad banner through the HTML/JAVASCRIPT GADGET. If Not Kindly do so
==> enable CUSTOM View on mobile, If you have Not, Click on Template==>Then The Gear Icon below Mobile==> Select (Yes. Show mobile template on mobile devices. ) ==>Then Under Choose mobile template, Click the drop down arrow and select CUSTOM
==>After that you will need to get the ID of the widget/gadget you want to display on Mobile
==>Find your way to your blog LAYOUT
==>On the widget/gadget you want to display on mobile CLICK EDIT
Mine is HTML 4
==> After That head over to your TEMPLATE
==> Click On EDIT HTML
==> After Then Click the JUMB TO WIDGET
==> Find the Widget ID you wish to display on mobile And Click on It, Mine is HTML4 and it should look like the below
<b:widget id='HTML4' locked='false' title='' type='HTML'>...</b:widget>
On that line add mobile='yes' after locked='false'
And it should now be
<b:widget id='HTML4' locked='false' mobile='yes' title='' type='HTML'>...</b:widget>
==>Save Template and you are Done
View Your Blog on mobile or on desktop by adding ?m=1 to the end of your blog url like mine will be (http://josphatinfo.com?m=1). The widget should display on it
