How to Share Data Plan On Mtn

Mtn as joined Glo in providing data plan sharing for it subscribers. Glo was the first to release this package by allowing it subscribers to share megabytes with there friends and family. Mtn as also make provision for this service for their customers so that they will be able to share data plan with their friends and family. With this new development there will be no need of transferring megabyte to your friends who don’t have Mb on
their SIM again as you can share with them the megabyte that you have and they will start surfing the net. With this new MTN data share package, MTN is getting things right just like Glo.

How to Activate MTN data plan on your MTN SIM

• Subscribe to any Mtn data plan package.

• To register dial *131*2*1# or send REG to 131

• You will receive a message telling you that you have successfully registered your mtn service and a PIN (0000) will also be sent.

• Change the PIN to a new Pin you can remember by dialing *131*2*5# or send change OLD PIN NEW PIN NEW PIN to 131 E.g Change 0000 1231 1231 to 131

• You will receive a message that your PIN has been changed successfully.

• After registration and change of PIN, You will need to add beneficiaries(Numbers) you want to share your data with.

• To add beneficiaries dial *131*2*3# or send Add to 131

• You will be asked to enter your New PIN

• You can add up to 5 beneficiaries.

• You can now share your data bundle among your beneficiaries by dialing *131*2*4# or send SHARE to 131.

Note: You must have data plan before you can activate mtn data share plan successfully.
